1 3/4 cups white sugar
1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup butter 4 tablespoons cocoa powder 1/2 cup wowbutter 3 cups quick-cooking oats 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - bring all ingredients except oats to a boil over medium heat, then stir in oats - scoop by tbsp on to parchment covered cookie sheets and cool * not in the fridge * Enjoy ! Had a such a great day. The children came to the kitchen to help cook. Today we baked cookies and had a blast! They really do enjoy it plus it is teaching them good life skills <3
I got the idea for Jessica Seinfeld's cook book but I made a few changes, hope you like them as much as we do :)
2/3 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup slightly softened margarine 1 egg whites 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 can of chickpeas, drained 1 cups chocolate chips 2 cups of whole wheat flour 1 cup old fashioned oats 1 teaspoon baking soda mix using hand held blender sugar, margarine, chick peas, egg and vanilla until smooth once a chunky consistency add in all other ingredients, mix and drop by tbsp full on greased cookie sheet( I do not grease mine I use parchment paper) put in preheated 350 oven for 12-14 minutes :) so yummy * you can use any kind of chocolate chips and you can also mix them half and half with raisins Makes a great morning snack, but also great for after school!
Take 1 banana cut in half length way, 2 flax seed or any flavour of tortilla, Wowbutter, and nut free granola - Cover tortilla in Wowbutter, sprinkle with granola, put 1 half of the banana in and roll it up... I cut them into 5 pieces It is also a good way to get kids in the kitchen, the whole snack can be made using a butter knife :) 1 watermelon - peeled and cut with flat bottom and top
whipping cream fresh fruit to decorate pat water melon dry once it is peeled and cut with a flat bottom and top, cover with whipping cream and top with fresh fruit Enjoy! so Easy, so Delicious and It's good for you :) So you use the eggplant as the crust!
Slice the eggplant into rounds about 1/3 inch thick sprinkle with salt and let sit for 25/30 minutes ( to release the excess water) pat dry brush them with olive oil and oregano (can also use Italian seasoning) bake them in a preheated 400 oven for about 15 minutes until they are starting to get tender remove from oven and top with favorite pizza topping and return to oven under broiler until cheese is melted * can also be done with zucchini January 20th - Morning Snack - Spinach dip, pumpernickel bread and cucumbers with milk Lunch - Eggplant pizzas with Greek salad and milk, for dessert assorted fruit Afternoon Snack - banana roll ups with the choice of water or juice
January 21st - Morning Snack - cucumber and cream cheese on a tortilla with milk Lunch - Meatballs, egg noodles with hot veggies and milk, "Watermelon Cake" for dessert Afternoon Snack - rice cakes with jam and Wowbutter and the choice of water or fruit juice January 22nd - Morning Snack - Corn chips, avocado dip and peppers with milk Lunch - Mac and Cheese shells with veggies/dip and milk and a homemade chick pea chocolate chip cookie for dessert Afternoon Snack - Cheese, veggies and crackers with the choice of water or fruit juice January 23rd - Morning Snack - Cheese, meat & veggie kabobs with crackers and milk Lunch - Loaded potato soup, garlic bread and milk, for dessert yogurt and fresh fruit parfaits Afternoon Snack - bananas and cheerios with the choice of water or fruit juice January 24th - Morning Snack - Peach pinwheels and milk Lunch - Ham and vegetable quiche with garden salad and milk, for dessert yogurt cups and homemade granola Afternoon Snack - dried fruit, apples and graham crackers with the choice of water or fruit juice I would like to take a moment to thank each and every person who has visited my Blog in the last week...In one week I have had just under 350 veiws according to my stats, which is Amazing and makes me want to do so much more. Thees little gems were so fun to make...The black ones were made from carrot, black pitted olive and fresh mozzarella, and the other ones were made from red grapes, cheese strings ans cheddar cheese... served with crackers :)
