○ If it is too hot to cook there are still lots of quick and simple ways to have nutritious meals. Bean and lentils are a great way to get some added protein into you little ones
○ Make sure to keep them hydrated. Watermelon and cucumber are perfect for this time of year, not only are they yummy they are also filled with nutrients and added water to help keep them hydrated
○ Keeping a water bottle on hand at all time is also a great idea, keep it cold by adding frozen grapes instead of ice...or you can flavour it by adding other frozen fruits strawberries, raspberries and mango are great alternatives
○ Homemade popsicle - by blending up their favorite fruits, vegetables and yogurt you can make a quick and delicious popsicle with no added colours or artificial flavours
