Today was a fun day in the kitchen not only did i get the kids to eat one of their favorites Egg Salad, but I use less mayo and added mashed avocados to replace it. Getting them to try something new can sometimes be hard, not every meal I make is a "home run" but giving them the option to eat good, healthy food doesn't always have to be scary either. By changing something small in one of their already favorite foods is the easiest place to start. Small steps can sometimes make a bigger impact then you think for example grating some zucchini, carrot or mushrooms in to a meatball or a meatloaf makes no difference in the taste but can add those veggies that are sometime impossible to get them to eat other wise.
